Juneteenth in Da Rock
Project Management
Description written by Mosaic Templars Cultural Center: African American history is woven into American history, just as the story of African Americans is woven into the story of Arkansas. The Mosaic Templars Cultural Center explores this connection in this video series, Woven.
While working on 15th Annual Juneteenth in Da Rock celebration, my role during pre production of Mosaic Templars Cultural Center’s woven video series included contacting the selected videographer, helping come up with questions for interviewees, evaluating shooting locations in the museum, to set up meetings, and served as the liaison between the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center and the film company the video series.
I also maintained prompt communication with people featured in the video series before, during and after the series completed. This project granted me the opportunity to conduct interviews during the video shoots.
Along with the Juneteenth in Da Rock team, I evaluated content and selected quotes and footage to be featured in video series.
Graphics
Using templates created by State of Arkansas agencies, I used past photos from Juneteenth in Da Rock to highlight the street festival, 5K race, and other events.

Social Media Marketing & Strategy
